- Description
- Notice of Intent for ECONOMIC MULTIPLIERS AND DATA FOR USACE REGIONAL ECONOMIC SYSTEM The Government is specifically intending to acquire the most recent (2018) IMPLAN data used in RECONS. This action will acquire the 2018 IMPLAN Pro National Package that includes the US total, all state totals, and each individual county in the US. The USACE Regional Economic System (RECONS) is the only Corps certified Regional Economic Development (RED) model that uses the proprietary IMPLAN data. This task will allow the US Army Corps of Engineers to acquire the necessary data to update RECONS model at a significant lowered cost compared to each district or project to buy economic model separately. The identified contractor, IMPLAN LLC, will provide the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Institute for Water Resources, the following commercial service, input-output and regional economic impact modeling and dataset. IMPLAN has been the industry standard on providing accurate and defensible economic multipliers for regional economic impact analysis whose customers include federal and local government among others. This action will allow the Corps to acquire the most recent (2018) IMPLAN national dataset which contains 546 sectors representing all private industries in the United States as defined by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, and include economic multipliers and ratios for employment, employee compensation, industry expenditures, commodity demands, and relationships between industries. The contractor should deliver IMPLAN Pro National Package which includes the US total, all state totals, and each individual county in the US. The expected work is to be delivered within 30 days after the contract is awarded. Requested Information: Company/Contract Overview: A brief description of your company. Business size/Socio-economic status. Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) number. Briefly describe your companys ability and experience in providing the requirements as described in the attached draft PWS. Any questions/suggestions related to the draft PWS to assist in clarifying this requirement. Responses must be received via email no later than 1 September 2020, 4:00 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time. Send response to: Fierro Jeffery, Contract Specialist, FIERRO.L.JEFFERY@USACE.ARMY.MIL
