Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY to obtain information regarding potential qualified sources to provide Fresh Bread and Bakery Products; i.e. such as but not limited to: White enriched and Whole Wheat Bread sliced loaves; White enriched Sandwich (Hamburger); White enriched Hot Dog buns; Parker house rolls and Steak rolls, bulk and individually packaged with a tentative delivery schedule of 5 days per week to the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital, Little AR and the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center, North Little Rock, AR. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), Small, Small Disadvantaged, Small Veteran Owned, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) relative to NAICS 311812 (size standard of 1000 employees or less). Responses to this notice should include the following: Company Name and Address Business size (large or small) DUNS number Provide a Statement of Capability that demonstrates the firm s ability to meet the above requirement. Socioeconomic status (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), Hub Zone, 8(a), Small, Small Disadvantaged, Woman-owned Small Business, FSS/GSA contract schedule holders or Large Business) A list of the respondent s establishment s certifications from private, State and or local agencies documenting the safety and sanitary conditions and procedures. Responses to this notice should be emailed to Tammie Chaney, Contracting Officer at e-mail address: tammie.chaney@va.gov . Telephone responses will not be accepted. Please DO NOT respond in the interested vendor tab as the Contracting Officer does not have access and responses there will not be seen. Responses must be received in writing no later than 10:00AMCST, 21 August 2020. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses should also indicate whether the company is verified by the VA in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at www.vetbiz.gov.
