Description
Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify any potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide Clinical Chemistry and Immunochemistry testing. SUPPLIES REQUIRED The Contractor shall provide a clinical chemistry automation solution to include; an automated processing system with an Input/Output module, two centrifuges, tube de-capper, tube re-capper, sorter, two automated clinical chemistry and two automated immunoassay analyzers attached to a track, deionized water system, middleware, liquid ready-to-use reagents, complete system installation and integration, on-going service and support and preventive maintenance services. All as a Cost Per Test (CPT) contract for The Washington DC, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DC VAMC), at their Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, to perform laboratory testing according to the test menu provided. The work is to be performed in accordance with the contractor s Federal Supply Schedule (FSS). INTERESTED & CAPABLE RESPONSES: NCO 5 is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), person of contact (including telephone number & email address), GSA Contract number if applicable, and DUNS number 2. Capability statement Responses must be submitted by 2:00 PM (EDT) August 21, 2020. Responses to the information requested above may be submitted via email to Christopher.Hartley1@va.gov. This Special Notice of Intent to sole source is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this notice will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
