- Description
- The work consist of the removal or alter existing work in such a manner as to prevent injury or damage to any portions of the existing work which remain. Repair or replace portions of existing work which have been altered during construction operations to match existing or adjoining work, as approved by the Contracting Officer. At the completion of operations, existing work shall be in a condition equal to or better than that which existed before new work started. Also, the work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for levee gravel resurfacing and any incidental related work according to the specifications and plans. The project limits are Yazoo Levee MP 0/1 to HWY 49 as shown on the plans. The estimated value of the work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This project is advertised as a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside using sealed bid procedures. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $36.5 million. This will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Yazoo Levee Gravel Resurfacing. The total estimated value of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on/about 14�July�2020 and bid opening date will be on/about 18 August��2020. The resulting contract award will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award and to register, the SAM Internet address is: https://beta.sam.gov.
