Description
SYNOPSIS �EVALUATION, REPAIR & CALIBRATION OF THE TEST SET, AIRCRAFT OXYGEN SYSTEM, P/N 1582AS500-2 NSN 4920-01-422-8691 FOR ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIRFORCE F-18F �The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue an award on a Sole Source basis with Cobham Mission Systems for the teardown and evaluation, calibration, and maintenance repair of one to five (1-5) Test Set, Aircraft Oxygen System, P/N 1582AS500-2; NSN: 4920-01-422-8691 for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F/A-18F program per year over a five year period. Each test set requires induction into the Depot Repair Point (DRP) to evaluate, repair, and calibrate the Test Set, Aircraft Oxygen System. Once the repairs and calibration have been completed, the unit will be tested to confirm that it is returned to operational Ready For Issue condition. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.� Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
