Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 3304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. � The Centers for Disease Control, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to the Tri-County Health Department to assess the feasibility of identifying individuals who died from violent deaths and visited an emergency department (ED) in the 12-months prior to their death by linking ED syndromic surveillance (SyS) data from the ESSENCE to Colorado Violent Death Reporting System (CO-VDRS) data using personally identifiable information (PII) contained in both data sources The anticipated period of performance will be for a twelve month base period, with no option periods. Market research was performed and shown to support the sole source determination.� Action was initially solicited to GSA OASIS POOL 1 with no communication from vendors. See the attached Justification and Approval for Sole Source for additional information regarding the sole source determination.
