- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), intends to renew an electronic subscription access to Thomson Reuters checkpoint platform with Thomson Reuters, P.O. Box 71687, Chicago, IL 60694. Thomson Reuters is the sole provider for this platform. The access to the subscription shall be for a period of one year, Period of Performance: September 30, 2020 through September 29, 2021. NAICS: 511210, Software Publishers, this access shall be used in support of the Office of Chief Counsel staff at the IRS, for comprehensive access to federal, state, and international tax research content with additional expert commentary and in-depth analysis in support of the IRS mission. Thomson Reuters developed and owns the propriety product and supports the services specifically required for this acquisition. This is issued as a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation shall be issued, therefore, such requests for solicitation shall be considered non-responsive. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this announcement is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
