Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requires a vendor manufacture United States Navy (USN) uniforms utilizing newly developed patterns. The overall objective of this requirement is to test the pattern�s ability to be produced on a production line. This is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation at this time. The synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This effort is to seek out qualified sources (large or small) capable of providing the services listed herein. The intent is to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The submission of information is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services. The information will not be returned and no compensation will be provided from any response to this announcement. Proprietary information submitted will be protected when so designed. The following key information is requested: 1. Business size and status of your company 2. What is your specific ability to fulfill the requirement?** 3. Have you managed a contract of this nature before? Requests for a solicitation package will not be honored nor will technical point of contact information be provided. **Vendor MUST meet manufacturing capabilities and MUST currently have the necessary machinery as listed in the Performance Work Statement and attachment. Vendor must outline their capabilities and machinery in their submission. Vendors must acknowledge that they understand that requested machinery and capabilities must be used in the production process when performing this requirement.
