Description
Amendment 0001 of this notice is to update�a provision and clause and to provide answers to the following�industry questions.� Please see attached solicitation amendment,�""II.H Combined Solicitation and Synopsis 0001"", for provision and clause information. As a result, Provision 52.204-24, Representation Regarding Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment, is delted and provided in full text; and Clause 52.204-25, Prohibition on Contracting for Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment, is deleted and provided in full text. Questions and Answers Question 1: Rev 2 specs mention a 145 gallon tank, is that separate from the tank that's on the generator? Answer 1: A separate fuel tank on the trailer would not be required if��a generator already has incorporated a 145 or more gallon fuel tank on the generator. Question 2: Rev 2 mentions battery charger, is that reference the battery charging alternator that's on the generator? Answer 2: No, the battery charger needed would be one which would plug into 110V receptacle to keep the battery charged during periods on non-use. Question 3: Will the Government accept a Portable Generator and Trailer manufactured in China. Answer 3: A Portable Generator and Trailer manufactured in China is acceptable. �� Question 4: (a) Can you clarify the following spec:� Custom Parts ,�2 Position Selector Switch 400A @ 480V & 800A @ 1 5,600.00 5,600.00 @ 240V. (b) Also, will a steel frame trailer work, instead of aluminum? Answer 4: (a) The correct custom part is 2 Postion Selector Switch 400A @ 480V & 800A @240V.� Specifications Rev 3 revises this and is provided as an attachment to this notice. (b) The trailer must be aluminum framed, steel framed trailer is not acceptable. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Quantity one (1) Quiet Portable Generator with fuel tank and battery charger in accordance with specifications in the attached� solicitation.�
