Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION The Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Acquisition Operations Branch, intends to solicit quotations for a Firm Fixed Price Commercial Item Service contract for machine vibration reporting. Work includes, a Test Plan to instrument and collect data on multiple generators to include all pertinent test procedures and general sensor/instrument installation drawings, and a foreign material exclusion (FME). Additionally, a summary report consisting of data collected, analysis of the data, and guidance as to the root cause of the vibrations and the path forward for further study and definitively identify the root cause of the vibration(s). Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around August 11, 2020. Quotes will be due on or around September 11, 2020. Reclamation anticipates issuing the RFQ not set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541380, Testing Laboratories, with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. Reclamation will consider all responsible sources who submit a timely quote that conforms to the solicitation. Prospective offerors may submit quotes electronically through Contract Opportunities (formerly FedBizOpps) located at beta.sam.gov or email to the Contract Specialist at ASomerville@usbr.gov. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of a quote. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website. SAM can be accessed at beta.sam.gov. All invoices for this procurement must be submitted through the Department of Treasury�s Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP).
