- Description
- On November 30, 2015, the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco concluded a second cooperation program (Compact II) with the Government of the United States of America, represented by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), with the objective to improve the quality of human capital and land productivity. The budget allocated by MCC to Compact II, which came into effect on June 30, 2017, amounts to 450 million dollars, to which is added a contribution of the Moroccan Government of a value equivalent to at least 15% of the American contribution. The global budget will finance, over a period of five years, two projects, namely ""Education and Training for Employability"" and ""Land Productivity"", the implementation of which has been entrusted to the Millennium Challenge Account - Morocco (MCA-Morocco Agency). By way of this Specific Procurement Notice, MCA-Morocco Agency requests proposals for consultant services �Selection of a firm for capacity building of farmers of collective land located within the irrigation perimeters of in the Gharb and Haouz and concerned by the melkisation operation�. More details of these consultant services are provided in the Terms of Reference of the Request For Proposals (�RFP�) which describes the nature of the services, tasks and requirements of the Consulting Firms including the services to be provided. MCA-Morocco invites proposals from legally constituted consulting firms to provide the services. The MCA-Morocco will award a contract of a duration of eighteen (18) months, without exceeding the date of the end of the Compact on June 30, 2022. A firm will be selected under the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method, the evaluation procedure for which is described in the RFP in accordance with �MCC Program Procurement Guidelines� which are provided on the MCC website (www.mcc.gov/ppg).
