Notice of Intent Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, intends to award a sole source contract with Cochlear Americas Corporation for Bone-Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) implants. Cochlear Americas Corporation is the manufacturer and has proprietary rights to the Cochlear BAHA implants and has no other authorized third party vendors. Award will be made on or about 1 September 2020. The NAICS code 339112, size standard is 1000. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation number is W81K00-20-Q-0207, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within�7 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order basedupon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion ofthe Government.
