- Description
- Addminimal landscaping around the main entrance to the sidewalk adjacent to the POV parking lot. Including additional concrete flatwork around the entrance and Northside of the facility to connect entry walkways for safety and add an additional hose bib along the east end of the facility. Team Rooms and Collaboration suite will need to increase the level of protection to meet the units/users open storage requirements (upgrade from closed storage to Open Storage). As per the ICD 705, the COARNG will need to install security bars in at 2 locations in the HVAC ductwork and a lockable access viewing port to meet open storage requirements for the Collaboration Suite and Team Rooms. COARNG will need to install one (1) additional power drop and one (1) additional network drop in collaboration (Room #2108) space along east wall; (Add 1 quad power drops and provide an additional quad (4 ports) network port and rearrange network SIPR/NIPR ports along the east wall to match the 2nd Floor Collaboration Suite Redesign Proposal II attachment layout provided). Adjust location of uni-strut rack in team storage units along West wall giving easier access into storage room #s 2210 & 2107. Additionally, in order to support the units logistics, the Tool Storage (Room #1304) requires 2 additional quad power drops and 2 network NIPR ports in order to support Motor Pool and PMCS operations. COARNG G6 will not be providing drop screens for AV equipment as the maintenance, repair, and usability are no longer efficient for use in COARNG Readiness Facilities. In order to provide reduced maintenance costs, the COARNG would like to provide ""Wall-Talker"" laminate along the North Walls in the classrooms on the 2nd Floor (Room #'s 2225 & 2226). This laminate will requires a Level 5 finish of the drywall, current wall is at a level 4. The change will provide both a writable dry erase surface and a projectable surface for the projector. COARNG will need to add four (4) single mode fiber runs from the IDF room (2221) into our team storage rooms (Room #'s 2210 & 2107). The fibers are needed are the result of mission op-tempo increase. During design, the intent was to use switches in their deployable network server boxes (GBSs and GWSs), which don't require a fiber connection back to the IDF, since the network was to be provided via satellite connections. Currently, the unit is slated to utilize both Ft. Carson Tactical NIPR and SIPR, in addition to COARNG NIPR and SIPR and require fiber trunks to support these networks going to both storage rooms to branch into the team rooms/collaboration suite/training bay.
