- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; written proposals are being requested; however, paper copies will not be distributed. This acquisition is to obtain a firm fixed price requirements contract for the purpose of repairing: Noun: Alarm Set, Pilot Warning, NSN 6340-01-318-3876SO (Part Number: AL-9003-11) which is applicable to the Voice Altitude Warning System found on the HH-60 helicopter. The requirements contract will have a basic performance period of one year plus four annual ordering periods. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular dated 20 January 2015 or the most recent approved effective version. This notice advises offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-1; Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Term and Conditions- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Any additional contract requirement(s) or terms and conditions (such as contract financing arrangements or warranty requirements) shall be determined by the contracting officer to be necessary for this acquisition and consistent with customary commercial practices. The Defense Priority and Allocation System (DPAS) rating is DO:� A1C. The BEQ for NSN 6340-01-318-3876SO is 10 for the basic year and each subsequent ordering period for a total of 50. Inspection and Acceptance will be at F.O.B. Origin. Destination: Robins AFB, GA 31098-1887. Routine Delivery: 60 calendar days after receipt of order or reparable, whichever is later. SURGE and MICAP is 30 work days after receipt of order or reparable, whichever is later. SURGE or MICAP delivery orders shall take precedence over routine repair, and the delivery schedule shall be adjusted accordingly based on concurrence between the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO), and the Contractor. This is a sole source requirement to Orbit Communications Systems, Inc., CAGE: 34NS0, 716 S. Military Trail, Deerfield Beach FL 33442-3025. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Data or rights are not owned by the Government for this solicitation. Issue date of solicitation is 21 Jul 20. Response date is 21 August 2020. Anticipated award date is 15 November 2020. The validity period of the Requirement is 12 December 2020 through 11 December 2025.
