Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Third Millennium Productions, Inc., 303 Main Street STE 300, Fort Worth, TX, 76102-4069, (Cage Code: 3GKA4) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to establish a contract for TMP Vision/SLIM software and updates renewal and procurment for a total of 5 licenses for a base period of twelve (12) months with provisions for one (1) twelve-month option.� Market research has revealed this vendor is the only source capable of providing the required items.� Therefore, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from Third Millennium Productions, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the software.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
