- Page 3 of 3 This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source indefinite delivery contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Elekta Inc., located at 510 E Stoner Ave. Shreveport, LA 71101-4243. Services will be from 10/01/20 through 09/30/2025 under NAICS 811219. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, parts, transportation and equipment to provide GOLD coverage per agreement 2020-288696-CF, for government-owned linear accelerator, all glassware and subassemblies, as listed below: Items covered: Elekta Linear Accelerator Model: Infinity Serial No: 153535 VA EE# 42955 Elekta Site ID: 10902003 Covered Glassware: Magnetron, Thyratron, Electron Gun MLC Camera, IView Camera, IViewGT Amorphous Silicon Panel, XVI Imaging Panel, X-ray Tube Image intensifier, and all associated hardware, computers, and servers. This action will result in a firm-fixed-price service Indefinite Delivery Contract. The ordering period of performance shall be for sixty (60) months beginning 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2025 Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, and Clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract, applies. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement not later than 08/12/20 at 12:00 PM CST, to ashley.haslauer@va.gov . When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to number 36C256-20-Q-3935, Notice of Intent in the subject line. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. Responding as an interested party under the www.beta.sam.gov website does not constitute convincing evidence of capabilities. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. If after August 12, 2020, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 16 shall negotiate solely with Elekta Inc. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed requirement shall be based upon responses received and is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition.
