Description
Interested Vendor s Questions and VA provided Answers in BOLD TYPE. Who is the incumbent? EAP Consultants, LLC (Now Espyr.) What is the current contract number? GS-02F-0037P VA101V17-F-3146 What is the current annual cost? $4,078.80 Page 1, a. Diagnostic Services: Problem assessment visits (unlimited) and initial counseling directed toward identifying and assessing the complexity of personal problems which may affect job performance; are the problem assessment visits to be understood as instances the employee calls into the call center to determine counseling needs? Yes. Providing telephone service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year for employees. The visits are not unlimited, they are to receive 8 sessions, per problem for face-to-face counseling and referral for a full range of personal, family and work concerns. The call to schedule an appointment is not considered an instance. How many training sessions for supervisors and employees are required per year? Training is not a requirement for supervisors or employees; however, we frequently send out emails letting everyone now about the program and what is available to them. We did provide training in 2019 from Espyr and will do so again if requested. Keeping employees and supervisors informed of the availability of the program, through pamphlets, flyers, posters, newsletters and such other means as deemed appropriate is also required.  Are these trainings required as onsite or can they be webcast/webinar format?  Webcast is done live by a certified counselor who can answer questions over the video session. For our training in 2019 we had someone from Espyr come to the facility, we used our equipment to allow our out based employees to join in via skype. This was a good way to get our local employees involved, but training can be done via onsite, Webcast or webinar format.
