- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS The United Stated Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA); intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, in accordance with IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), with Correlated Solutions, Inc., 121 Dutchman Boulevard, Irmo, SC 29063 as the only responsible source that can provide Volumetric Image Correlation (VIC) � 2D with CSI Gold Technical Support (VIC �VOL) for a period of 1 � 12 months.� This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06 are incorporated. The United States Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), Center for Toxicology Research Division requires procurement of software and technical support with updates. This software protocols that the division will use are for experimental functionality to correct both drift and geometric distortions that occur in images taken using scanning electron microscopes which will enable a processing speed for long sequence with high measurements or cyclic loading by photogrammetry software. Items being included in this acquisition are: VIC � 2D Digital Image Correlation Analysis Software Includes one post processing license on USB Dongle Include one (1) Image Correlation for shape, Motion and Deformation Measurement � Reference Book VIC � VOL Volumetric Digital Image Correlation Software CSI Gold Technical Support Software Upgrades U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), is the leading science and technology in the area of medical chemical countermeasures research and development of medical warfare agent(s) for the Department of Defense and other Federal Agencies. Which has a public responsibility to comply with analytical and consultative services related to medical defense. The USAMRICD manages chemical casualties of national and international for Academia, pharmaceutical companies, and commercial enterprises.� In provisions of a turnkey solution that utilizes with optimized correlation algorithms to provide two dimensional displacement and strain data for mechanical testing on planar specimens.� The maximum estimated dollar amount for the contract is $41,360.00 The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 511210 with a Size Standard of $41,500,000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will be posted for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
