- THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) SOURCES SOUGHT IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 7) is soliciting information from contractors that can provide Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems for Medical Supplies/Equipment for Columbia VA Health Care System in Columbia, SC.� The principal NAICS code for this effort is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing.�� We are conducting market research to determine if there are enough qualified vendors to set aside an upcoming solicitation.� We are seeking the following categories: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, and all other small business categories. The responses from this notice will be used to make the appropriate set aside determination. Columbia VA Health Care System is looking to procure brand name (Triton 36 and Triton 72) or equivalent items.� Equivalent systems must meet the below salient characteristics: Ultrasonic Cleaning System Must be able to fit in the current footprint with no additional construction needed Max Dimensions: W 26� x D 53 x H 69 (lid open) Instrument set loaded from the 26� max width dimension (foot print for sonic #1) Max Dimensions: W 36� x D 53 x H 69 (lid open) Instrument set loaded from the 36� max width dimension (foot print for sonic #2) Minimum 35 lb. instrument weight capacity Capacity to process minimum of 20 da Vinci Xi and Si surgical instruments per cycle Minimum of 30 instrument ports for flushing contaminated surgical instruments Automated basket lift for ergonomics Capable of processing a minimum of 3 full size standard hospital trays at once during a single cycle Reverse Osmosis, tap and deionized water compatible Minimum 30-gallon basin capacity Minimum 208-volt wall receptacle Touchscreen Filtration system Validated by Intuitive Surgical for da Vinci Xi robotic instruments All interested contractors must respond by email to duaita.roseboro@va.gov NLT 4:00 PM EST on�05 August�2020.
