- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a vendor to rent one (1) trailer-mounted diesel powered vacuum loader, and�one (1) 40,000 CFM (min) diesel-powered dust collector. Equipment will be used by Government personnel to recover sandblast media during blasting operations to Lock & Dam�miter gates during winter dewatering project. Delivery date of the vacuum & dust collector shall be on or before 12 November 2020 and tentative pick up date is 16 April 2021. Requirements for the Diesel-Powered Vacuum Loader include: Vacuum air flow (blower), minimum positive displacement 5500 CFM and capable of 28� Hg Suitable for wet/dry operation Capable of vacuum distances up to 400 feet (including a 33-foot vertical rise) Capable of unloading into a standard 10-40 cubic yard container Trailer-mounted chassis with lifting legs to level trailer Engine shall be equipped with cold weather start package to include an electric engine block heater 90 gallon fuel tank (min) Capable of conveying the solid and liquid materials Lifting points to easily rig to and move with cranes Requirements for�Trailer-Mounted Diesel-Powered Dust Collector include: Side loading filter cartridge design. Diesel powered engine� with cold weather start package to include an electric engine block heater Filtering capacity of 40,000 cfm at 12 inch w.c. (min). 10,000 square feet of primary filter area (min). Hydraulically driven unloading augers. 20� inlets Lifting points to easily rig to and move with cranes Offeror�shall quote a weekly rate for the vacuum and include the cost for transportation of the vacuum and dust collector to and from the jobsite, on- and offloading, training, as well as any required routine maintenance during the rental period. Upon delivery of the equipment, the Contractor shall provide a minimum of 4 hours of comprehensive training to Government personnel. Training shall cover all aspects of the operation, safety procedures, including recommended personal protective equipment, and user-level maintenance for each piece of equipment supplied. Vendor shall provide the customer service needed to support this equipment in the event of a breakdown during the contracted rental period. Within 24-hours of being notified by the Government of an equipment breakdown, the vendor shall either repair or replace the nonfunctioning equipment. Quotes containing restrictions on the number of hours of use will be rejected. Quotes must include equipment specifications (i.e. cut sheet) demonstrating that equipment being offered fully meets the Government�s requirements. No rental deposits will be tendered. Please read the solicitation Statement of Work (SOW) carefully, to ensure that the equipment being offered fully meets Government requirements. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs) sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation.
