Description
Program Management, Administrative and Technical Support Services to provide the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) support for the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) - N68335- 18-R-0374 PSC: R408 NAICS: 541990 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, intends to issue a sole source contract for the procurement of Program Management, Administrative and Technical Support Services to provide the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) support for the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) on their fleet of EAF SH-2G (E) aircraft. The procurement includes program management, in-country support, travel, installation support and data (monthly reports) for the HUMS system for EAF SH-2G (E) aircrafts. This support shall be for a period of performance of one (1) base year and four (4) one-year options. �GE Aviation Systems, LLC (CAGE 35351) was the selected company to supply the support for the Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) on their fleet of EAF SH-2G (E) aircraft. The anticipated award will be made to GE Aviation Systems, LLC (CAGE 35351) is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the HUMS system in the SH-2G aircraft. GE Aviation Systems, LLC is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to continue to support sustainment of the system and the only source with the technical data, facilities, and capabilities required to provide the associated peculiar support equipment, publications and technical personnel. �NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
