Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T), Innovation & Collaboration (I&C), Industry Partnerships Division (OIP) intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a contract with Hyperion Technologies, LLC. � 21335 Signal Hill Plaza, Suite #250, Sterling, Virginia 20164 - �(Hyperion) for the procurement of services under the Hyperion trademarked FedTech Program.� Hyperion is a professional services company specializing in providing innovation and consulting services for the Government and commercial markets. The Hyperion trademarked FedTech Program specifically engages with Federal agencies to identify potential federal spin out technologies. This proposed contract action shall be executed �under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a), Limiting Sources. �Hyperion represents the only one responsible source capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work. (Please see the Attachment of Statement of Work). The anticipated date for contract award is September 10, 2020. �In addition, this proposed procurement will be conducted through the General Services Administration (GSA) Professional Service Schedule (PSS), under �NAICS code is 611430. �This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and an RFQ is not intended to be issued; however, any response to this notice received by the closing date and time will be reviewed and used for future requirements. �Interested parties may submit information for consideration by the Government to jeonghyo.kim@hq.dhs.gov and shelby.buford@hq.dhs.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 14, 2020 with answers for the questions below. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. How could you meet the technical needs and requirements identified in the notice? Describe the qualifications and experience of the key personnel who could perform the tasks outlined in the notice. Have you provided a similar type and scope of services as the current requirements for any U.S.� Federal government agencies? If so, please provide the contract documents.
