- The National Institute of Stand and Technology intends to negotiate solely with Summer Consultant Inc, 7900 Westpark Dr., Str A405, McLean, VA 22102, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subsection 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to provide services related additional tunnel MV Infrastructure Electric Study. This is a logical follow on contract . We require the following services under the contract: survey NIST substation, manholes, handholes, service entry rooms, site topography, and unrelated electrical utilities.� �This is a logical follow-on to �Summer Consultants task order MV Infrastructure Electric Study under task order 1333ND19FNB195324. Summer Consultants studied six different schemes.� This involved reviewing site utilities, topography, loading, financial penalties from generation contracts, and unique site requirements. Their knowledge of this specific task is highly unique and making them highly qualified.� Any other engineering firm would have to start at the beginning vs adjusting a scheme they already developed within the existing study. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 and the size standard is $15 million. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. NIST anticipates award of one Firm Fixed Price Contract for a base period of one year, and a one-year option period, if exercised. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a solicitation or request for proposals. The Government will not award a contract from this announcement or pay for information received. A solicitation is NOT available. Therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored.
