Description

The Billings Area Indian Health Service and Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar and Wolf Point, Montana, intend to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Nemont Telephone Co-operative, Inc., PO Box 600, 61 Highway 13 South, Scobey, Montana 59263-0600,�for telephone services�at the two�Fort Peck Service Unit locations.� The Contractor, Nemont Telephone Co-operative, Inc., is the only telephone service provider for the Poplar and Wolf Point, Montana areas.� The purchase order will consist of a twelve month period. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes.� There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes.� Phone calls will not be accepted.� Any response to the notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.� If no affirmative written response is received by 5:00 p.m. Mountain�Daylight Time (MDT) on August 14, 2020, the contract will be issued without further notice.� A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
