Please see the documents in Attachments/Links.� Please take note of the quote due date which can be found in Block 8 of the SF1449 (RFQ). ************** UPDATE on 27 JULY 2020:� The DRAFT Request for Quotation (RFQ) including all the attachments are hereby published.� Please note that this is a DRAFT RFQ. The Final RFQ�will be posted soon after. Please see the documents in Attachments/Links.� The site visit is on-schedule for 28 July 2020 (Tuesday) 0900.� The participants will meet at Main Gate (Gate Number 4) Camp Darby, Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy. *************** DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: �The contractor shall manage and provide all equipment, tools and labor necessary to performance services to segregate and remove construction debris and solid waste materials located on or near the Leghorn Army Depot, Camp Darby and other location refuse collection points which includes the following task: Characterization and Segregation. Using his/her own vehicles and equipment, the contractor shall characterize the mixed solid wastes before segregating them into separate debris piles based on material types. Examples of solid waste debris materials types include (but not limited to) concrete, brick, dirt, asphalt, insulated panels, bituminous waterproofing membrane and other similar types of solid waste, etc. If segregation becomes impractical, the contractor may request removal of mixed solid waste debris materials. Approval shall be at the discretion of the COR. Packaging. Using contractor�s equipment and vehicles, correct packaging of hazardous or NON hazardous wastes. Verification. The contractor is responsible for verifying the type of solid waste debris in piles and characterizing the waste for proper removal and disposal. Sampling. The contractor shall sample each pile resulting from waste separation and shall analyze it for acceptance by a landfill facility in conformance with all applicable Italian laws and regulations. The sampling shall be performed to identify the solid wastes among: Hazardous, Hazardous with Asbestos or NON Hazardous. The contractor shall dispose to proper disposal facility the different types of solid waste materials identified above. All activities shall be performed in accordance with safety regulations, FGS Italy 2012, Revision June 2015, USAG Italy Solid Waste Management Plan, ADR and HN regulation. LOCATION OF WORK: �The work under this contract will be performed on or near the Depot and Camp Darby refuse collection points. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: �This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract.� PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: �The contract period of performance period for this requirement is six (6) months after award. SITE VISIT:� The site visit is scheduled for 28 July 2020 (Tuesday)(0900) at Gate No. 4, Camp Darby Main Gate, Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties will be invited to indicate their interest by submitting an email not later than Close of Business (COB) by 13 July 2020 or sooner to ryan.d.bueno2.civ@mail.mil�and cristina.pancaccini2.ln@mail.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number and the name of the company, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and name(s) of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit (maximum two persons): first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, type and number of identification document. Please attach the Identification Document (Carta di Identita) and provide vehicle type and plate number to the e-mail. Only the person(s) who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. The guards will check the identification card at the gate. Visitors not included or annotated on the visitor list will be denied the entrance to the Installations.
