Description
INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Contracting Office � Falls Church (CO-FC) intends to award a sole-source contract to American College of Surgeons, Inc. (ACS), 633 N. Saint Clair Street #2600, Chicago, IL� 60611-3234 to continue the current work under HT0011-15-C-0013, expiring 11 June 2020.� A Justification and Approval is being processed for this requirement and will be posted when the approval process is accomplished. DHA CO-FC requests that ACS, the incumbent of the current contract, HT0011-15-C-0013, is afforded the opportunity to continue to provide memberships and membership support/ training services to the National Surgical Quality Improvement Programs for Adult, Pediatric, Bariatric, and Trauma verification and/ or accreditation.� This non-personal services contract will consist of an 11-month base, four 12-month option periods and inclusion of Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.217-8 �Option to Extend Services� for up to a 6-month period.� It will not exceed 65 months.� REQUIREMENTS: Provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform professional, administrative, and management support to the overall objectives of the National Surgical Quality Improvement Programs (Adult, Pediatric, Bariatric, and Trauma) to include verification and/ or accreditation.� These quality programs shall provide the nationally recognized, validated, outcome-based, risk-adjusted, and peer-controlled measurements and quality improvement of surgical patient care in the Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). � INTERESTED PARTIES: Firms not solicited under this requirement may request a copy of the solicitation, but are advised that the agency intends to authorize other than full and open competition under FAR 6.3.� All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Justification and Approval will be posted no later than 14 days after contract award. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Any future solicitation that will be open to competition will subsequently be issued on beta.SAM.gov in order to permit responses.
