Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Major Weapons Systems For AIR ASW, C-130 Program (AIR 2.3.5.2), Patuxent River, Maryland intends to negotiate and award a sole source delivery order under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract awarded to Goodrich Corporation. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 provisions will be used with Goodrich Corporation, 101 Waco St, Troy, OH 45373-3872, for the effort associated with supplies to Parts Kit � Retrofit Aircraft (P/N 380-180) for the C-130 Aircraft.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.� A determination of the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.� This synopsis is published for information purposes only.� Goodrich Corporation is the only firm that possesses the requisite knowledge, experience, technical data, and tooling that satisfies the Government�s requirement within the timeframe required. The Government intends to award this delivery order pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.� The synopsis is published to notify potential sub-contractors of an anticipated sole-source contract action and the potential of sub-contracting opportunities with Goodrich Corporation.� Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Goodrich Corporation POC: William Long, William.long@utas.utc.com. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitation, make any award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of the contract for the efforts mentioned above.
