- SEE ATTACHED RFP FOR MORE DETAILS Request for Proposal (RFP)������������������������������������������������������������������� CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION (CDC) Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) Date Issued:� 07/28/2020 Date Response Due:� 08/05/2020, 12:00 PM EDT Questions must be submitted via e-mail to vgj6@cdc.gov by 12:00pm EDT on 07/30/2020. � Title:� Temperature-Controlled Storage Unit Validation� The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award. Period of Performance: �The period of performance will be one base period of six (6) months 9/15/2020 � 3/15/2021. � Technical Proposal Page Limit:� The Technical Proposal shall succinctly address the PWS contained herein, and shall not exceed 10 pages in length.� Pages shall be double-spaced, Times New Roman equivalent at 10 point font or larger and with margins of .75� or larger.� Neither any appendix of resumes or CV to support the staffing plan count against the maximum length of 10 pages. 52.212-2� Evaluation-Commercial Items (Oct 2014)� The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical ability to complete the work within the period of performance and price. The Government will evaluate proposed costs to determine they are fair and reasonable. Award will be made on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is determined by conformance to all details described in the statement of work. (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). ����� (c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer�s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
