Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Warehousing and Distribution Support Services Contract SP3300-16-C-5001 on a sole source basis to Olgoonik Technical Services, LLC for DLA Distribution San Diego, CA. This effort includes performing warehouse and distribution operations requirements using the DLA Distribution Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/addendums, Process Manuals, and DSS. The Contractor shall provide all management, personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and any other items and/or services not provided by the Government. The modification would extend performance for up to a six (6) month period pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Due to unanticipated acquisition process delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-16-C-5001 to allow for uninterrupted Warehouse and Distribution Support Services for up to a six (6) month period beginning on 16 October 2020. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Olgoonik Technical Services, LLC is capable of providing the services at this time. Award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to DLA Distribution San Diego, California activities. The modification to current contract SP3300-16-C-5001 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. The J&A for this extension of services will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
