Description

The RD organization has a far-ranging scope in the types of roles, missions,�dedicated and unbiased A&AS support to act as a �trusted agent� for the�agency both internally and externally in the course of daily execution of�specified and implied missions. This requires close coordination within RD�to effectively execute its programs, as well as across the agency�s�Directorates.� RD efforts are generally organized within seven�elements: * RD Research & Development Operations Department�(RD-OP) * Chemical and Biological Technologies Department�(RD-CB) * Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) * Technologies Department (RD-CX) * Enabling Capabilities Department (RD-EC) * Nuclear Technologies Department (RD-NT) * Counter Improvised Threat Technologies, Department�(RD-TT) The Scientific & Technical (S&T) Subject Matter Expertise (SME) A&AS�contractor, hereafter referred to as the contractor, will work closely with the�Program Management Office (PMO) A&AS contractor as an associate contractor.� Any question or issue regarding interaction with the PMO A&AS�contractor should be brought to the attention of the contracting officer�s�representative (COR).
