Description
Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) RAPTER Industry Event Wednesday - August 26th, 2020 9:00 AM 12:30 PM Virtual Meeting The Department is committed to recapitalizing the existing fleet of approximately 1400 Radiation Portal Monitors (RPM) operated by CBP at the Nations Seaport and Land Border Ports of Entry. The CWMD Acquisition Division will hold a virtual industry engagement event to update industry on the current state of the developmental acquisition program. This event is a follow-on engagement with industry to the Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) Open System Architecture (ROSA) Industry Day held on August 1-3, 2018. The lessons learned from the ROSA development have informed the evolution of ROSA into the RAPTER Program. The purpose of the RAPTER Engagement Day is to inform industry of the CWMD vision for future RPM development as well as obtain feedback from industry on the proposed approach. Industry is encouraged to RSVP for this event and inform CWMD if they wish to have a one-on one discussion with the government. CWMD will schedule these individual sessions with those companies demonstrating expertise in R/N detection equipment development and production. The one-on-one meetings will be used to solicit feedback from industry on how to achieve the above objectives. CWMD will hold a limited number of one-on-ones later in the day of the Industry Day event, as well as more meetings approximately a week following the event day. Forms can be found on the RFI posting. To register for the event, please send a completed Registration Form to CWMDIndustryEvents@hq.dhs.gov and CC Nolan.Duchateau@associates.hq.dhs.gov by August 14th, 2020.
