- Please see attached combined synopsis. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forges Logistics Center (SFLC) Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) anticipates awarding one (1) firm, fixed price, non-competitive, requirements type contract as a result of this RFP. It is the Government�s intention to solicit and negotiate solely with Appleton Marine, Inc. A Sole Source Justification & Approval was executed for this solicitation. The resulting contract for the purchase/overhaul of Appleton crane assemblies and spare parts is to contain one (1) base year and four (4) one-year options periods.� No parts or overhauls will be obligated as a result of this RFP or contract award.� Orders will be funded and placed individually against the resultant contract. The closing date has been extended to 04 August 2020 for this solicitation.
