Description
INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND PROPANE PIPING AND STORAGE, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, TEHAMA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA The National Park Service, Lassen Volcanic National Park, has a requirement for the installation of underground propane piping and storage tanks throughout the headquarters area of the park. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 237120, with a corresponding size standard of $39.5 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total HUBZone Small Business Concern Set-Aside. Offers are solicited only from total HUBZone small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered. The work of this contract consists of labor, materials, and equipment required for the removal and reinstallation of propane lines and storage tanks underground within the headquarters area of the park. The work includes but is not limited to removing all of the individual above-ground 500-gallon LPG tanks that currently serve the buildings throughout the park headquarters, and installing two (2) underground 6500-gallon LPG tanks at a central tank-farm site. The propane gas will be distributed from the tank-farm throughout the park to all buildings needing gas service via underground main gas piping. A direct-fired LPG vaporizer will be installed to ensure only propane gas vapor is distributed to the park, and a truck-fill station will be installed for efficient filling of the underground tanks. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, testing, and supplies to perform the installation and related services as identified within the specifications document and any additional documents or requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required to successfully complete the work. Site Visits will be by appointment only- see Section L for more information.
