Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Squarehead Technology, LLC located at 580 Herndon Pkwy, Suite 350 Herndon, VA 20170 for the acquisition of audio and video equipment. This requirement is sole source based on the product combining the capabilities of a steerable microphone, which incorporates audio and video surveillance, and precision detection. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm?fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302?1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 ""Simplified Acquisition Procedures."" The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334310�Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing�Size Standard is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is July 29, 2020 at 11:00am Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Vivian.O.Anyagaligbo@usdoj.gov.
