Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Networking Contracting Office (NCO1) located in Brockton, MA intends to enter into a sole source procurement, pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Belimed Infection Control for the following requirement: Perform PM inspections on all Belimed Equipment. Repair any malfunctioning equipment to manufactures recommended standards. Equipment Covered: QTY Model Equipment Equipment Number 1 CS720 Cartwasher, Automatic Door CS-720 160/20 16937 1 UCO246 Ultrasonic Cleaner Model 246C 2000002762 1 WA290 Conveyor/Automation System 2000002764 1 WD250 Kit, Washer WD250 Steam Heating 998751120021 1 WD250 Kit, Washer WD250 Steam Heating 998751129922 1 GATE Gate, Return SISO 2013 BSI654 1 MST-H Steriliser_MST_9-6-12_HS1 M21635 1 MST-H Steriliser_MST_9-6-12_HS1 M21533 The place of performance for this work will be the Brockton VAMC located at 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02031. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 with small business size standard of $22 Million. Belimed Infection Control is the only contractor capable of performing the required work because the Belimed service department is the only source recognized by the manufacturer as qualified to work on their equipment. If any other vendor is used the VA would be liable for any patient infections This notice of intent is not a solicitation nor is it a request for proposal. However, interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirement listed above must clearly identify their capability to do so in writing by Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 9:00 am EST time. Responses should be sent to John Shawki at issa.shawki@va.gov. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
