Base Notice:� Eye movement tracking system Notice Type:������������� Sources Sought Posted Date: July 24, 2020 Classification Code: 66 Scientific Equipment and Services NAICS Code: 333314 Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing NOTICE INFORMATION Agency/Office: National Institutes of Health Location: National Institute on Drug Abuse Title: Eye movement tracking system Description(s): The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is the lead Federal Agency for research on mental illnesses.� The mission of the NIMH is to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) on Section Development and Affective Neuroscience (SDAN) conducts considerable research on various aspects of fear in children and adults with anxiety disorders. Substantial amount of SDAN research involves tracking eye movements as they provide various indices of aberrant processing of fear-related and other stimuli. We currently employ a number of tasks for this purpose which are conducted on healthy and anxious youth and adults. Based on study results and the direction in which SDAN research is going, we intend to increase the amount of eye movement research that SDAN conducts. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase a EyeLink 1000 Plus Core system with upgrades, software bundle and shipping �or �equal� eye movement tracking system with upgrades, software bundle and shipping.� The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that �equal� products must meet are specified in the purchase description.
