- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement: DESCRIPTION WORK:� The work consists of excavating sand material from the Bonnet Carre spillway, hauling and stockpiling sand material in the U.S. Highway 61 stockpile area; clearing and grubbing vegetation from the stockpile area and other incidental work. Crushed stone roads will be constructed and maintained.� Sand to be stockpiled is 750,000 cubic yards. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of the work is between $10 and $25 Million dollars. This procurement will require a bid bond, and payment and performance bonds to be provided shortly after award as will be stipulated in the Invitation for Bid.� Bid opening will be conducted virtually. USACE New Orleans District anticipates an Invitation for Bid to be published in August of 2020.
