Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 75247 is issuing this special notice to inform industry contractors of the intent to execute a Single Source award as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) to Service Works, Inc. 95 Megill Rd. Farmingdale, NJ 07727. Prior to awarding, market research was conducted and concluded this is a request for the procurement of operations and maintenance of the security system. It has been determined that a sole source contract is in the Governments interest due to the proprietary alarm equipment system currently in place throughout the facility. The system maintenance ties into the current surveillance system in place at the facility leased to ICE and maintenance by Service Works, Inc. In accordance with FAR Part 13, specifically Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), there is only one (1) responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The place of performance is as follows: 601 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10001. The anticipated�award date is July 20, 2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561621, the Small Business Administration size standard for this sector is $22.0�in millions of dollars. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. No solicitation document is available, and telephone, fax, or email requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded based on offers received in�response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
