- C-118A Liftmaster Display Aircraft Refurbishment Request for Information In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this Sources Sought Notice is a Request for Information for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes only.��This Sources Sought Notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on part of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey (JB MDL). The government intends to procure minor refurbishment, bird-proofing, and full paint services of the C-118A display aircraft on JB MDL.��It is envisioned that the contractor will provide all supplies, personnel, supervision, and services necessary to perform C-118A Aircraft Refurbishment in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This notice is intended strictly for market research as a request for industry comment on the PWS to assist in its development relative to the North American Industry Classification Code 488190.��Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract.��Vendors are reminded that only Contracting Officers are authorized to commit the government to the obligation of funds.��At this time no solicitation exists, therefore do not request a copy of the solicitation. Please submit responses to SSgt Kofi Adansi Pipim at kofi.adansi_pipim.1@us.af.mil.��Responses are to be submitted no later than 31 July 2020 at 3:00 pm (Eastern). Participating vendors shall furnish the following minimum information: 1. Confirmation that your company can provide the requested services in accordance with the PWS. 2. Company socio-economic status (i.e. Small, Small Disadvantages Women-Owned, etc.) under identified NAICS and company profile to include, CAGE Code and DUNs number. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Vendors will not be compensated for any costs incurred as a result of responding to this request for industry comment.
