SOLICITATION FA301620R0028 ALTERATION AND FITTING SERVICES AMENDMENT 01 OFFERORS SHALL ENSURE PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS ACKNOWLEGE ALL AMENDMENTS The purpose of this amendment (Amendment 01) is to present administrative corrections, additions and deletions to solicitation FA301620R0028, Alterations and Fitting Services.� Revised documents are provided as part of this amendment: CLOSING DATE FOR THIS SOLICITATION:� HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 06 AUGUST 2020 3:00PM CST � Summary of Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Changes Paragraph 1:� Last sentence was deleted because of duplication. 2)��� (b) Submission of offers: �A complete proposal consists of two (2) parts� REPLACED �A complete proposal consists of three (3) parts� above the table in this section. 3)�� Part II, Price Proposal, paragraph (b)� Section B, Price Schedule:� Table corrected under CLINs heading to 1001-5001 � 4)�� Statement deleted from page 4: �For each contract line item number (CLIN), insert proposed unit price and extended amount as shown in the example below.� (Please note, example is from random contract, not a previous or current alterations and fitting contract).� � 5)�� Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation � Commercial Items: 5.1) �Paragraph (d), 1.0 Evaluation Process was revised 5.2)� Paragraph (d), 1.1 Price Evaluation was revised 5.3)� Paragraph (d) 2.1 was deleted 5.4)� Attachments Added: �� Attachment 4:� WD 15-5253 �� Attachment 5: �Mission Essential Contractor Services 6)�� Definitions: Interchanges has been revised. The following were questions that were asked at the site visit: Q1: How many items are issued per trainee? A1: Pants: 3; Shirt: 2 Q2: How many trainees were in the waiting area (how many chairs) before COVID-19 protocol? A2: Before COVID-19, there were approximately 150 chairs, all trainees inside building. Current chairs in the waiting area is now approximately 40, trainees wait outside. Q3a: How many flights/trainees per year?� A3a: Less than 40 K (estimated) Q3b: Is that expected or projected to change? A3b: Depends on the needs of the Air Force, but it can change. Please reference Attachment 1 (PWS), Part 1 General Information, 1.3 Scope. Q4: Are any alterations done on the Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP)? A4: Only minor repairs, buttons missing for example. Q5: What time are the trainees in the area (bldg..)? A5: Usually between the hours of 7:00 am until 4:00 pm (but occasionally after 4:00pm) Q6: What is the rate of error? A6: Please refer to the solicitation, Attachment 1, PWS, Part 6 Performance Objectives. Q7: What kind of stitching (machines)? A7: Sewing machines are straight stitching. Q8: How many flights per day? A8: Average 4 flights/40 trainees per flight per day.
