This announcement and associated attachments constitute the entire and only solicitation. Offers/quotes are hereby requested via this notice and attachments. An additional solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation no. 1291S820Q0045 is issued as a Request for Quote [RFQ]. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The USDA Forest Service, Cleveland National Forest, has a requirement for Mechanical Site Preparation Services on Morgan Hill, Palomar Mountains. Contract period of performance is sixty-two (62) calendar days from date of award and/or Notice to Proceed [NTP]. The awarded contract will be firm-fixed-price. The North American Industry Classification System [NAICS] code for this acquisition is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry with small business size of $20.5 in annual revenue. Site Visit information in Section C.4. Offers/proposals shall be submitted electronically by email ONLY. No hardcopy proposals will be accepted. Email proposals to the Contracting Officer, Jeremy Bedner, by the due date. Jeremy.bedner@usda.gov Refer to Section L and M of the solicitation RFQ document for complete offer/quote submission instructions and evaluation. It is the responsibility of each offeror to ensure that its offer is transmitted and received by the Government before the closing time for the receipt of offers as indicated by this notice and the RFQ. Any offers received after the scheduled closing time will not be accepted or considered for contract award. Contractors must be registered in the SAM database in order to receive a contract award from any USDA Forest Service activity. Prospective offerors must be registered in SAM prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM information at www.sam.gov. Offerors may complete Representations and Certifications online via SAM at www.sam.gov. Ensure DUNS and CAGE Code numbers are provided with the proposal. DUNS at www.dnb.com. Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database to be eligible for a Government contract award. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror. Interested parties are hereby notified that the solicitation is available exclusively on the Contract Opportunities website. https://beta.sam.gov. The solicitation, attachments, and amendments (if any) will be published for viewing, printing, and downloading from the Contract Opportunities website only. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor Contract Opportunities for the release of amendments, changes, or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
