- REPAIR WOOD ELEMENTS OF THE MANSION CUPOLA HAMPTON NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, TOWSON, MD Request for Proposal (RFP) to construction firms with the capability to perform the work in accordance with the attached specifications. The requirement is being solicited under FAR Parts 15 and 36. This contract requires the contractor to provide all tools, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, correspondence, supplies, staging, and materials necessary to complete this requirement. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238350 Finish Carpentry Contractors with a size standard of $16.5 million Size Magnitude for this project is between $1,000,0000 and $5,000,000 Wage Determination (WD): The applicable WD for this requirement is MD 20200030 and the work will take place in Baltimore County, MD. This contract is being solicited as a 100% Certified Disadvantaged Small Business set-aside. All responsible contractors may submit an offer for consideration. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsive contractor submitting the proposal the represents the best value to the Government. Award will be made based on an evaluation of technical factors and price. The selected Contractor must be knowledgeable in Standards for Historic Preservation and have experience in working on structures of historic significance. See RFP Section L, Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors for applicable Special Instructions including what to submit with the proposal. Note: Certificate of Insurance, Payment and Performance Bond, and Bid Guarantee are required. See section I of the clauses for additional information. Site Visit: An organized site visit will be held on August 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM EST. Participants should meet at 535 Hampton Lane Towson, MD 21286. All participants WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK TO ATTEND.
