Description

PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT: This announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation announcement of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204. This is not a solicitation. No response is requested at this time. A formal solicitation will follow this announcement with full details, including a response deadline, the complete price proposal schedule, the construction plans & specifications, instructions to offerors, and the evaluation factors/basis for award. OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE AND THE FORMAL SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. PLANNED SOLICITATION: The final Solicitation for this project will be announced anytime between 15 and 30 days after the posting of this pre-solicitation. The contract type will be firm-fixed-price. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, transportation, fuel, lubricant, supplies and materials; and performing all operations in connection with raising dikes and berms, and installation of new spillway systems in AIWW Placement areas 41S W-C, 13N W-C, 19N W-C, 78N W-C, 106N W-C, 204N/225N W-C, 402N W-C, and 1190N W-C, including clearing and appurtenant items. The work is located in Charleston & Georgetown Counties, South Carolina. Magnitude Of Work: $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Solicitation is hereby posted and active as of �22 July 2020.
