Description

Notice Number:� Pre-Solicitation Solicitation Number:� FA2521-20-B-ZTBD Project Title: Repair Lightning Protection System, Tel-IV Project No: KSCC 16-1601 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or Invitation for Bid.�� The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Air Force Base, FL announces the anticipated release of an Invitation for Bid no. FA2521-20-B-ZTBD, Project No: KSCC 16-1601, for the project to Repair Lightning Protection System, on Kennedy Space Center, FL. ��All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual IFB document. This IFB is being issued as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside; all other bids will be deemed non-responsive.� Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14-Sealed Bidding.� An award made will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the IFB and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the solicitation. Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the Beta.Sam.Gov, website (www.beta.sam.gov). There will be no paper copies of this IFB. All IFB information may be obtained through the above referenced website. �Any questions relating to the solicitation should be e-mailed to leisa.zemba@us.af.mil �and thomas.smith.139@us.af.mil.� Reference the IFB �Project No. KSCC 16-1601, Repair Lightning Protection System, Tel-IV� on all correspondence. Period of Performance: 150 Days from Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of Construction project: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Additional Information: The applicable NAICS code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors.� The size standard is 16.5M.���� The IFB is expected to be available on or around 6 August 2020 with a bid closing date, depending on the actual release date of the solicitation, on or around 6 September 2020. Potential bidders must be currently registered at the Beta.Sam.Gov website (www.beta.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. All responsible, responsive sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the 45th Space Wing.
