Description

This announcement constitutes as a Synopsis. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an invitation for�Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The 6th Contracting Squadron�intends to award a firm-fixed priced, single award IDIQ, contract with a five (5) year ordering period as a�direct award to an Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The�proposed performance is estimated to be 30 September 2020 to 29 September 2025. The contractor�shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials for the preparation of�personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and related�services as required by the Performance Work Statement. Services include packing, containerization,�local drayage, delivery, unpacking, storage and related services for personal property shipments. Direct�Procurement Method (DPM) contracts provide JPPSOs a comprehensive movement process for�worldwide movement of small/larger shipments to specific overseas locations. The government reserves�the right to award to a contract to other than the lowest price. The applicable North American Industry�Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with�Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and supplemented by FAR�Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Anticipated award by 30 August 2020 with an anticipated�start date of 30 September 2020.
