- Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Salient/Functional/Performance/Specification: Portable Wound Vacs (Name Brand or Equal) 2237 #557-20-2-2443-0016 Carl Vinson VAMC is seeking to purchase five (5) ACTIV.A.C. Therapy Units (portable) and 3 Ulta VAC systems for the Wound Care Section within Nursing Service line. Monitors therapy usage, settings, durations and dressing and canister changes to help ensure patients are receiving the prescribed course of therapy Unit shall provide hydrophobic filtration Unit measures pressure at the bed of the wound, not at the canister Unit shall provide negative pressure therapies for wound treatments and abdominal surgery sites.
