- **Funds are not presently available for this potential contract. Currently, the Government anticipates funds will become available prior to but no later than 30 Sep 2020. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for awards if funds become available and the prices received are within an awardable range ** Construct Canopies, CES C-17 Vehicles & MEOC Equipment W50S6L-20-B-00012 The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for construction of material storage canopies at the 176 CES yard, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. �� BASE BID: Add/extend to the existing vehicle parking canopy and construct a second canopy for materials storage in the 176 CES yard at locations shown on the attached proposed site plan The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 - $250,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 180 days after notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $36.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees"" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 16 July 2020, and the solicitation will be posted for at least 30 calendar days. Actual date of time of closing will be identified in the solicitation. An organized pre-proposal conference and site visit will be announced when the solicitation is posted. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website now located online at https://www.beta.sam.gov/.� Sam.gov is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Contractor's submitting a proposal must have a Cage Code and be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov.
