Description

THIS IS AN INVITATION FOR BID, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. THIS PROJECT WILL BE ADVERTISED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. KS FLAP MRS 10(1) Lake Road Safety Project PROJECT DESCRIPTION:��The project is along Lake Road which provides the main access to the west side of Council Grove Lake (USACE) just north of Council Grove, KS in Morris County. Construction improvements include replacement of roadside barrier at two sites.� One site includes replacement of bridge approach guardrail which will include reconstruction of a portion of the existing end walls with concrete end blocks for structure transition rail attachment. Minor grading is required to accommodate new guardrail terminals. Significant quantities: - Structure Transition railing, 150 LNFT - �W Beam Guardrail,� 625 LNFT - Guardrail Terminal, 8 EACH - Object Markers 4 EACH - Temporary Traffic Control, ALL LPSM� Construction is anticipated from September 2020 to November 2020.� �Estimated total cost is $150,000 to $200,000.
