- Description
- The 97th Contracting Flight, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for acquisition of repair services for two�paint booths at Altus AFB, Oklahoma.� Please see attached PWS for complete details. Questions regarding the solicitation and attachments will be accepted through 30�June 2020 at 1200 (12:00 PM Central).� The work to be accomplished consists, in general, of the following principal items. This does not mean the work consists only of these items, but that it consists of these principal items along with all incidental minor work which becomes necessary to complete in order to accomplish the overall project in satisfactory and workman like manner meeting the approval of the customer. Install contractor supplied digital thermometer to control booth temperature and indicate AMU exit air temperature. Work and parts to be installed equally on both paint booths.� Install contractor supplied door sweep, contractor supplied trim lock and contractor supplied door seal on large barn-style doors and personnel doors. Work and parts to be installed equally on both paint booths.� Install 2 contractor supplied Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and contractor supplied potentiometer to control exit fan speed allowing the user to make an adjustment at/near the interior control panel to maintain proper booth pressure. Work and parts to be installed equally on both paint booths.� Install 3 contractor supplied magnhelic monometer guages. One will indicate intake filter condition, one will indicate booth pressure and one will indicate exhaust (exit) filter condition. Work and parts to be installed equally on both paint booths.� Install contractor supplied timer to turn off power to AMU, exhaust fans and booth lights at a user desired timeframe. Work and parts to be installed equally on both paint booths.� Install contractor supplied AMU filter box, modifying the original design to make filter changes safer by lowering the filter access point to a height which allows the users to clean/replace filters without using a ladder. Work and parts to be installed equally on both paint booths.
