Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the�Maintenance Dredging Manistique Harbor�construction contract.� The scope of work entails mobilizing�dredge to Manistique Harbor and dredging at the location and depth specified on the plans. Dredging is limited to mechanical method only. Placement of dredged materials will be within the upland placement site as shown in the plans. Transfer sites are provided for the Contractor�s use. Hydraulic conveyance of dredged material to the placement area is prohibited. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. General Information:� The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and�$1,500,000 .� The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990�Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of�$30 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price�contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Anticipated solicitation posting date: August 2020 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and�attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only�electronically and via beta.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be�supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this�solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders�list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged�to review the ""Interested Vendors List"" found on beta.sam.gov for this�solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal�Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award�Managment (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for�free at www.sam.gov.
